Thanks to George and the gang, I’ve been hanging around the virtual WordPress cooler all year, picking up mean website builder tips, oohing at plugins I hadn’t previously understood a need for, aahing at custom solutions for theme niggles, and generally sharing digital marketing tidbits with WordPress enthusiasts around the globe.
It’s a support network that enables each of us to pursue WordPress projects on a bigger or smaller scale and launch a few websites in the process. (And while there’s no new Business-Sitter site here for you to admire yet, as I continue to host my blog here on WordPress.com in the interim, you won’t be surprised to learn that there’s one in the making. More about that later.)
In building up our own capabilities, we’ve also come to appreciate limitations and how to overcome these by outsourcing to experts to expand the overall solution. Providing integrated solutions is as much about knowing what you don’t know as bringing on board the person who does.
Here’s a bloke I’d recommend for his technical tenacity and developer delights, and if you want to tap into some of those cooler discussions, you might want to pick up a copy of George Plumley’s latest ebook: 100 Beginner WordPress Tips
In his words: “Fully-illustrated for the most current version (3.6), it’s filled with tricks and tips to make you a WordPress ninja! And the revolutionary ebook format makes it a snap to jump to any tip, any time. Only $4.99 in the Kindle store. P.S. you don’t need a Kindle to read this ebook – just a FREE Kindle app for any device!”
Thanks for the awesome book recommendation! I will be sure to check it out. One can never know too much about technology!
